Our treatment approach

Precise diagnostics, consistent isolation and a transparent treatment process.

We explain the starting situation, options, limitations and alternatives so that you can make an informed decision. The exact process always depends on your individual clinical findings.

01

Preserve as much tooth as possible

Not every damaged tooth requires a full crown. Depending on the defect, direct fillings, inlays, onlays or partial crowns may be suitable. We select the restoration according to the remaining tooth structure, functional load and long-term prognosis.

02

Modern root canal treatment

When the tissue inside a tooth is inflamed, the root canals are treated under rubber-dam isolation. Electronic length measurement, mechanical instrumentation and intensive irrigation and disinfection protocols support thorough treatment.

  • Rubber dam for protection and reliable isolation
  • Digital X-rays and CBCT for complex situations
  • Electronic working-length determination
  • Mechanical preparation and irrigation
  • Dense root filling and stable reconstruction
03

Review and stabilisation

After root canal treatment, we assess healing and structural stability. Depending on the amount of lost tooth structure, an adhesive partial crown or crown may be advisable to protect the tooth during everyday function.

Questions about Tooth preservation & endodontics

Well informed before your personal consultation.

Is root canal treatment painful?+

Treatment is performed under local anaesthesia. An acutely inflamed tooth may be sensitive at the outset; we adapt the anaesthesia and procedure accordingly.

Why is a rubber dam used?+

The elastic sheet keeps saliva and bacteria away from the tooth, protects against irrigating solutions and allows controlled treatment.
