Removable aligners with a realistic treatment objective

Digitally planned correction with clear aligners

Clear aligners can correct mild to moderate tooth-position problems. The goal is not merely straight front teeth, but a functional bite supported by healthy periodontal tissues.

Our treatment approach

Intraoral scanning, digital simulation and regular monitoring of tooth movement.

We explain the starting situation, options, limitations and alternatives so that you can make an informed decision. The exact process always depends on your individual clinical findings.

01

When are aligners suitable?

Typical indications include crowding, small gaps, rotations or preparation before an aesthetic or restorative treatment. Aligners are not the right solution for every malocclusion, and we discuss these limits honestly in advance.

02

Digital planning

An intraoral scan records the dental arches in three dimensions. The planned tooth movement can then be simulated and divided into treatment phases. Small tooth-coloured attachments may be required depending on the situation.

03

Cooperation and retention

Success depends significantly on daily wearing time. After active movement, retainers stabilise the result. Gums, oral hygiene and the bite are also monitored throughout treatment.

Questions about Aligner therapy

Well informed before your personal consultation.

How long should aligners be worn each day?+

Usually for nearly the entire day and night; they are removed mainly for eating and oral hygiene. You will receive an individual recommendation.

Can every tooth-position problem be treated?+

No. Complex malocclusions may require a different orthodontic concept. Digital planning helps show what is realistic.
