Continuing Education & Live Surgery Workshops in Berlin

ZAK offers practice-oriented surgical continuing education in a unique setting: modern dental practice, surgical equipment, modern sterilization, live transmission technology, conference area, hotel, and restaurant are all located in one place—centrally in Berlin-Mitte.

The focus is on live surgery demonstrations, surgical workshops, and professional exchange on implantology and oral surgery topics. Participants experience real workflows from practice: from digital planning through surgical preparation to execution, documentation, and debriefing.

The location in Hotel Catalonia Berlin Mitte makes it particularly easy to combine continuing education, accommodation, exchange, and catering. Practice, conference room, hotel rooms, restaurant, terrace, and catering are directly adjacent—without long distances and without external event venues.

Our goal is not anonymous large-scale events, but high-quality continuing education with clinical relevance.

The Conference Room

The conference area offers approximately 120 m² of flexible space for surgical continuing education, live surgery workshops, seminars, and professional events. The room is divisible, fully equipped, and can be arranged with different seating configurations depending on the course format.

Courses and workshops can be planned for approximately 15 to 45 participants. This makes both smaller intensive hands-on formats and larger lecture and live surgery events possible.

Particularly important is the direct connection to the practice: live surgeries can be transmitted from the dental practice to the conference area. Participants remain in the training area while surgical procedures can be professionally supervised, explained, and discussed.

Live surgery demonstrations are at the center of our surgical continuing education. Participants experience real implantology and oral surgery treatment workflows not only theoretically, but live from practice—from preparation through the procedure to professional debriefing.

  • Live transmission of surgical procedures to the conference area
  • Support during planning, procedure, and debriefing
  • Real oral surgery treatment workflows
  • Implantology, bone augmentation, sinus lift, piezosurgery, and PRF

Topics and Workshop Formats

Deepen surgical topics in a practice-oriented way

The continuing education courses at ZAK are aimed at dentists and practice teams who want not only to understand surgical workflows theoretically, but to experience them in a practice-oriented way and deepen them professionally.

The focus is on implantology and oral surgery topics that come directly from clinical practice. Depending on the course concept, planning, surgical preparation, surgical execution, assistance, materials management, and follow-up care can be combined.

Implantology and surgical planning
Case selection, digital diagnostics, implant positioning, prosthetic backward planning, and structured surgical preparation can be discussed using real cases.

Bone augmentation and sinus lift
More complex initial situations, augmentations, sinus lift techniques, and regenerative concepts can be professionally explained in the context of live surgeries or workshops.

Piezosurgery and gentle surgical techniques
Modern surgical instruments, tissue-preserving approaches, and controlled bone preparation are important topics for precise and safe procedures.

PRF and regenerative procedures
The use of PRF and regenerative materials can be demonstrated in a practice-oriented way and explained in connection with bone augmentation, wound healing, and implantology procedures.

Surgical organization and assistance
Structured surgical workflows, sterile preparation, instrument logistics, assistance, materials provision, and documentation are also part of modern surgical continuing education.

Exchange and case discussion
In addition to demonstration, professional exchange is paramount. Indications, alternatives, possible difficulties, and practical experience can be discussed together.

This creates continuing education that does not stop at theory, but combines surgical planning, practical implementation, and clinical experience.

Participants benefit from short distances, comfortable rooms, generous breakfast, Mediterranean restaurant, and a terrace for relaxation. This creates a continuing education environment where surgical live surgeries, workshops, professional exchange, and accommodation come together optimally.

Everything in One Place

A particular advantage of the location is the direct connection of dental practice, conference area, hotel, and dining. Continuing education, live surgeries, professional exchange, accommodation, and catering can thus be organized centrally in one place—without long distances and without external event venues.

The 4-star Hotel Catalonia Berlin Mitte has 115 rooms and is located directly at the same site as the ZAK dental practice. Participants can arrive, stay overnight, attend the workshop, and be catered to during the event in the building.

Restaurant, terrace, and catering enable good service during the course—from coffee breaks through lunch to shared exchange after the event.

Especially for multi-day workshops, live surgery continuing education, or participants from outside the area, this structure is a major organizational advantage: practice, conference room, hotel rooms, restaurant, terrace, and catering integrate directly.
