Calm explanations · individual support

Dental treatment with time, control and appropriate anaesthesia options

Fear is never a reason for judgement. We begin with a calm conversation, explain each step and agree a clear stop signal. Your first visit does not have to involve treatment immediately.

Our treatment approach

Local anaesthesia, nitrous oxide, sedation or general anaesthesia — selected according to the person, procedure and medical requirements.

We explain the starting situation, options, limitations and alternatives so that you can make an informed decision. The exact process always depends on your individual clinical findings.

01

The first visit may simply be a conversation

Many people have had negative experiences or feel embarrassed about their dental situation. We take both seriously. We first discuss wishes, concerns and possible steps. Examination and diagnostics proceed only as far as feels manageable at that moment.

02

Several levels of support

Different options are available depending on anxiety, treatment extent and health. These range from clear guidance and local anaesthesia to nitrous oxide, medication-based sedation and general anaesthesia.

  • Local anaesthesia with sufficient time to take effect
  • Nitrous oxide for relaxation and anxiety reduction
  • Sedation for more extensive treatment
  • General anaesthesia together with an experienced anaesthesia team
03

Manageable steps instead of overload

A transparent treatment plan helps divide a larger task into understandable stages. After treatment, preventive care and regular reviews help detect new problems early, when they can often be treated with less effort.

Questions about Dental anxiety & anaesthesia

Well informed before your personal consultation.

Do I have to receive treatment at the first visit?+

No. If you prefer, the first appointment can focus on getting to know us, talking and carrying out a cautious initial assessment.

What is the difference between nitrous oxide, sedation and general anaesthesia?+

Nitrous oxide supports relaxation while you remain conscious. Sedation reduces awareness and memory more strongly. Under general anaesthesia you are fully asleep and monitored by an anaesthesia team.
