Take the signs seriously
Worn tooth surfaces, sensitive teeth, muscle tension, jaw-joint discomfort, headaches or repeated damage to restorations can indicate overloading. We assess the teeth, bite, muscles and joints together.

Protection, relief and control
Grinding and clenching can strain teeth, fillings, restorations, chewing muscles and jaw joints. An individually planned splint provides protection, but does not replace assessing possible causes and contributing factors.
Our treatment approach
We explain the starting situation, options, limitations and alternatives so that you can make an informed decision. The exact process always depends on your individual clinical findings.
Worn tooth surfaces, sensitive teeth, muscle tension, jaw-joint discomfort, headaches or repeated damage to restorations can indicate overloading. We assess the teeth, bite, muscles and joints together.
The splint is individually designed from a digital scan. Material, height, guidance and the intended relief depend on the findings and treatment objective. In our own laboratory, the design can be coordinated directly with the clinical situation.
Depending on need, we make occlusal and protective splints, retainers, sports mouthguards or special temporary splints. Fit, comfort and bite are checked after delivery and adjusted where necessary.

Every part remains connected
Complex dentistry becomes easier to understand when all involved areas work together directly. Findings, images, scans and plans are available wherever they are needed.

A splint protects the teeth and can relieve structures. Triggers such as stress, sleep-related factors or functional issues may also need to be considered.
We record the dental arches digitally, design the splint individually and produce it in our practice laboratory.
